If you like to dance this is the dance floor to do it. The floor isn't slippery. I think there is a new DJ. The music lineup has changed. Thursday nights are ladies night and there is no cover for ladies. The bartenders and waitstaff have always been attentive. I hear the owner is investing some more into the rear patio and the restrooms. There is no longer a restroom attendant. Oh wear a shirt with a collar. There is a bit of a dress code. This place was popping when i was a kid in the 90s. Went there as an adult and the same topless lady was working in the parking lot. Everything is saggy now so no thank you. Other than that. This is Texas historical place

The only reason. That I'm giving such a low rating on the food. Is because they no longer serve food there. It would be great if they were to serve food again. A lot of people . Mainly the regulars who have been going there for many yrs. Wish that we could get the kitchen back up and working. They had an amazing cheese burger and cheese frys with bacon. We all sure miss the old days at The Hop. And look for Julie best waitress ever. Sweet plite... just down to earth. I've been goung there for 17 yrs. Straight on Fridays. And some Saturdays. Friday nights is a good night. There are plenty of people where u can dance and not be too crowded. Saturdays are really packed. Ur basically elbow to elbow. it's a younger crowd . But the music is great to dance to. Great atmosphere, and lots of friendly people. The co er charge is free 6 p.m to 8:p.m. after 8:p.m it $5.00

First time my husband and I went Friday night. Our 39th anniversary was the next day. We had a great time enjoyed the music and atmosphere. The only one complaint to many reserved tables and around the dance fllor

No food here, but the gracious and welcoming staff are wonderful. I always have a really good experience at The Hop.

I simply love going to The Hope Nite Club! I love that I don’t have to wait until 1:00 a.m. to hear the music I like. The DJ jams the entire time! I arrive at 8:30 p.m.; I go straight to the dance floor and I am worn out by 11:00 p.m. I love the mixed crowd and that folks can choose to dress up or down, whatever makes them happy. I’m thankful that I can reserve a table. Love my waiter Anya (not sure if that’s the correct spelling of her name). She is very attentive and personable. I am truly thankful that I have found the place that I can unwind and reset. Dancing is very therapeutic and healing for me. The drink prices are very reasonable. Thank you Hope Nite Club. Your club has truly been a gift to me! I love that the staff and guests are very friendly. Still uncertain why it's called a "Diner" Club. Have yet to see or smell food.

Well yesterday was the second to last day that the Hop will be opened. The music and Videos have been awesome hate to see it close.

I absolutely fell in love with this place from the moment we walked in. The energy from the dance floor is welcoming and contagious. I personally can dance anywhere without any liquid courage but my friend is another story. She was asking me to dance just because the music is diverse from oldies to country to rap and Latino music. The staff is always so friendly from the lady at the door and the security guard. The bartenders are always slammed but are quick to get to you. The female bartender is our fave because she always greets us with a smile and is quick to attend to us and make our drinks. There is a server there that is always so nice to us and cleaned us a table last time we came in she is light complexion with short dark hair and glasses. I hate that I don’t remember her name but I plan to ask next time so I can recommend her. The crowd is usually older but lots of regulars and that’s what we enjoy is seeing a lot of the same people there and dancing. If you’re looking for a good time and dancing I would definitely recommend the Hop!

I have not tried food if they have any. The staff was friendly. They need to redo the place. The carpet smells filthy. They should add more stalls for women's restroom. Please remodel this very nice place to have for the elderly and adults whom love to dance.
